*"Love suffers long, and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.... And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." ~Paul of Tarsus

Embodying Spaciousness and Mac Clean Up Tips

Autumn is ideal for harvesting and creating spaciousness. I am embodying this in many ways. Spaciousness is the highest priority in my life personally right now. I went from feeling like I lived on an empty field in life (painfully empty) to now being blessed with a full harvest… however this harvest is too much! Now I realize this is much more than I want to maintain. I need time in life to simply enjoy it all more. So I’ve let go. I’ve reduced the amount of time I spend “working” on one creative project or another and am now enjoying the freedom of space. I have a basic weekly template, which provides room for everything important to me. My days are now much more open for time to just be. I feel free. I’ve reached a healthy and fulfilling balance of moving toward my goals and highest aspirations while staying on top of regular duties of life. I’m also going through a six-week O C E A N with Ejuva cleanse right now which is really bringing the process into my whole conscious being in a beautiful compliment to the work I do with the Daily Seed WholeBook. The process has been beautiful, amazing, and enlivening. I feel very thankful for the blessings in my life right now and am in a great place of my ideal balance. Very fun time. Cleaning the spaces you frequent is wonderful in Autumn. It’s that time again to let go of all the things that you don’t really need or use that often. Make room for better things to come in. And enjoy the space in between. Here are some clean up tips for Mac Users that I’ve just taken notes on in celebration of my new Macbook (the new beautiful aluminum one, a reward to myself for all the hard work and a tool for future creating). Our computers are often a great reflection of our organization. Having them clean and tuned up creates a great foundation for new sprouts. Enjoy the tools of creation you have by keeping them optimal. Have a beautiful day. Love d Optimal Maintenance of Your Mac A Quick Reference Checklist for Mac Lovers 1. Get More RAM: 512MB is a good balance of power for the OS X. 2. Utility Software: Clear out clutter and speed up your mac while repairing permissions and performing other system-level first aid. Regular cleaning can make a world of difference in speed and efficiency. a. Several free and shareware programs are available such as Onyx. Onyx is available at: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/onyx.html. Use the cleaning tab to delete old caches that are no longer needed (such as internet). 3. Stay Up to Date: Make sure you’re always downloading the updates. Newer versions of OS X tend to run faster. 4. Keep Open Space: Keep at least 10-15% of your Macintosh HD completely free. If the drive fills up, your Mac slows to a crawl. It needs free space to write virtual swap memory files. The less RAM you have, the more space is needed for these files. a. Use a second drive, either internal or external, to keep your storage items off your main boot drive. This will allow the system to drive lean. If you have an older system that is full of “stuff”, you can move everything over to a large external drive and then reinstall the operating system to start over totally fresh. 5. Back Up: Utilize the Time Machine that you have. At least, get an external hard drive that is used for this. Wireless is seamless, however a weekly plugging into an external, if set up where easily accessible, will also work.
