Five Healthy Habits to Create Success

We all have goals. Great success begins with your habits. What habits do you have? Are your habits moving you towards your goals or keeping you away from them?  Being successful in your habits while aligning them with your goals, can allow achievement of what you dream of -- like never before. Habits develop by doing an action enough times that the neurons in the brain create a pathway, enabling them to move more quickly from a trigger point. Some, for example, get in the habit of eating while watching TV. Other habits develop consciously, or by choice, from something you decide to do repeatedly until these pathways are created. Ellen Langer highlights the differences between habits made out of choice versus habits people “fall into”. Check It In

Look at each day as a blank page. Before making any marks on your canvas, consciously choose what you write, draw, paint, or cut.   Keep a palette near, full of all of your favorite colors. With each stroke, have fun and enjoy the experience.  Create your ultimate design with the tools you have while riding the natural flow. At the end of the day, look back and explore the way you lived it.  Is it your best piece of art, or perhaps something you'd like to try again later?  Can you feel more  alive?  Can you give more?  Are you open to what's best for all?  Are you living your dreams? Repeat daily. Danielle Marie Crume Please   :)

Look, Man.

You can’t understand, change, or improve something if you don’t even see it completely. Start with looking. Open! Open! Open! Then tilt your head and look again. Deeper… Look from every angle. Don’t let one view satisfy your curiosity. There is a beautiful wisdom and peace found in seeing from a universal point of view. Compassion naturally arises. Love! Danielle Marie Crume

The Treasure of Reading

Choose a book and read a bit.   Open to your feelings while you read. Allow them to naturally rise and pay attention to them.  Find a book (or lots of them) that deeply moves you and makes your heart sing.   Make this a priority and retreat into it often.  And your whole life will forever shift. IN joy! Danielle Marie Crume
