A Poem: The Law

This is a beautiful poem that I found in a book a while back.  I'm in the process of moving and letting go of things, but want share it here: The sun may be clouded, yet ever the sun Will sweep on its course till the cycle is run. And when into chaos the systems are hurled, Again shall the Builder reshape the new world. Your path may be clouded, uncertain your goal; Move on, for the orbit is fixed for your soul. And though it may lead into darkness of night,  The torch of the Builder shall give it new light. You were, and you will be; know this while you are: Your spirit has traveled both long and afar. It came from the Source, to the Source it returns;  The spark that was lighted eternally burns. From body to body your spirit speeds on; It seeks a new form, when the old one is gone; And the form that it finds, is the fabric we wrought On the loom of the mind, with the fibre of thought. From cycle to cycle, through time and through space,  Your lives with your...

Warrior of Love

Warriors of Love are fearless in their love.    They are openly sensitive and  embrace their vulnerability.  They love without expectations or need of love in return.  It is their true nature.  They don't "give" love, they simply embody it.  They ARE love.  It emanates from them. Some people are uncomfortable with the powerful love from these warriors.   They prefer "pink sauce love" in which everything is "Love and Light", hearts and flowers, and sugar-coated.  Although its soft and fluffy, it's not real.  It often weakens people by comforting them with a temporary band-aid for staying stuck in old patterns.  They are not truly fulfilled.  They are needy and unhappy with being alone. Love Warriors are powerful .  Their love may even be fierce at times.  They aren't concerned with being nice or liked by everyone.  They only want to be True.  They are honest and outspoken.  They don't hold bac...

If Age is Nothing But a Number.....

What is your eternal age?  At what age did your birthdays "stop" taking effect? What age are you on the inside?   Some say they will be 18 forever... or 22, etc. ....So what about you? I think mine is going to be 31...  Right now I'm 30 so I'll let ya know when I get there.... =P I love 30, but it's such a transitionary number that it requires too much deep thought and life choices.  Never before have I explored myself as openly or focused on myself as much as I have since my last birthday.  And although I'm having a great time exploring myself soooo deeply, it's just a bit too serious.  However I love the changes that are in progress. =) Since I'm on the subject, I'll post what I've been discovering about aging.  So far my main observances are that as we age, there is a grumpiness that sets in... an ignorance/innocence burn-off.  Nothing major, just requires that you actually choose to be happy rather than naturally being i...

The Great Outdoors

I am one who LOVES technology and the conveniences of a modern lifestyle. Two of my favorite posessions are my MacBook and iPhone. They make life easier and more fun. =) However, going out of range and away from chargers was absolutely refreshing last week. I spent seven days camping in the Sierras, on the backside of Yosemite. Fresh air, a running creek, lots of trees, a campfire, the warm sun, and simple family times were such a delightful change from the usual routine. It took a good three days to adjust and truly appreciate my surroundings, but this trip out of "the norm" was deeply nurturing in many ways. So many things about the trip stand out.   Playing with the kids brought out my inner child. Seeing my son catch his first fish was absolutely amazing (please note it was the biggest one of the day, of course). Hanging out with my mom and dancing to "I'm Too Sexy" was a blast. Sitting on a big rock in the middle of flowing water and soaking up the su...
