There are all types of beliefs about the self, but this is what I believe. I'm putting this up as a foundation for other things I want to share. As with most things that I believe, I learned this by being open to hear others' opinions and teachings, applying them to myself and my experiences, and feeling my way through what resonates with me as feeling true and right (for me). Of course, me being me, thought of this as total BS the first time I heard of it. But thank God, I was open enough to consider it, as I have learned over time the great value contained within this concept.
