Your Whole Self - Inner Child, Self, and Soul

There are all types of beliefs about the self, but this is what I believe.  I'm putting this up as a foundation for other things I want to share.  As with most things that I believe, I learned this by being open to hear others' opinions and teachings, applying them to myself and my experiences, and feeling my way through what resonates with me as feeling true and right (for me). Of course, me being me, thought of this as total BS the first time I heard of it.  But thank God, I was open enough to consider it, as I have learned over time the great value contained within this concept.  There are three key parts: The Inner Child Often seen as the part of us that is pure and innocent, the inner child is a snapshot of us when we were around six years old - before we entered kindergarten and began focusing on left brain activity (logic).  This energy remains with us forever and is the happy, playful part of ourselves.   The "dark side" of the inner ch...

Let's Do This!

This week I approach a big "battle" of life... I have a few challenges (that are bigger than I'd prefer to have) lined up.  Several key triggers are in place.  Here comes the wave!! However, with the experience and foundation I have acquired throughout my journey, I recognize that this is a grand opportunity.  A divine dance ready to play out.... With all the hard work I've got under my Wonder-Woman-style magical (and invisible) belt, I can do this!  I have the faith to own the challenge and the humbleness to get back up and dust myself off if I don't quite succeed as envisioned.  Either way I'm going for it and will do my best.  And I'll grow because of that. So here's the battle plan: 1.   Be Ready and Connect.  Each morning start with a "Me Ritual" in which I shower, put on some music, cleanse off my charges and limited thinking, connect with God and fill my cup, and be READY to rock the day.  I enter the state of being in which the ...

I AM

Breathe in and out.  Let go of your busy mind for just a moment.  Step into the sanctuary of your heart for a quick replenishing and refreshment. I AM Peace Centered and still inside regardless of the hustle and bustle outside. Love I emanate joy through the jealousy and hopelessness I encounter in my day. Strength I rise consistently through my adversities, applying the wisdom they bring. Abundance All I ever need, IS. Once again, I remind myself: All I ever need, IS. From here, I enter the game again... connected =) by Danielle Crume © 2010

A Tranquil Thought

This feels amazing and it only takes two minutes. :) When you feel like you're overwhelmed with thoughts or have too many things going on in your head, stop.  As soon as you're aware of it, just pause for a moment.  Silence all the thoughts completely.  (It will only be for a bit and don't worry, they will come back if you want). Take a nice full breath and relax your arms at your side.  Keep breathing deeply as you raise your arms to stretch them up high.  Allow your body to move around in a natural wiggle - kind of rolling around to release built up blocks, to stretch out your body, and cycle your energy. If you're really present, you may break into a dance - so watch out now! Just kidding.  But try it.  It's fun. by Danielle Crume © 2009

How to Utilize Emotions for Their Divine Purpose & Follow Through with Healthy Communication for Growth & Improving Relationships

This does not qualify as my favorite thing to do… but communication is a basic skill that we all should have.  The fact is, however, that many of us are very gray and elementary in this area.  It’s not something emphasized in school and it’s not fun to deal with unhappy feelings and challenges – so we usually avoid them like the plague.  But if we open to the divine opportunities within them, we can reap great rewards and change feelings into freelings . Communication has been rising for me during the challenges of the holidays, so as I brush up on my skills and refresh what I know, I share it with you! :)  This is an expansion of what I previously wrote about in many articles including  Communication and Dealing with Conflict , but goes much farther into the earlier steps of being clear about the emotions you need to communicate. I am still very stubborn and many times I delay this process, but through my experience with it, I always come back to...

The Ultimate Web Experience

I have checked out all kinds of internet sites over the years but few have kept my interest. Here I list the top tools I've found for the full web experience. These are based on a blend of important points including ease of use, how fun they are to visit, usefulness, and efficiency. My all time favorite web tools are Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, and my blog. I forgot to add that Facebook has some fun games to play too... :) What's your favorite?
