Breaking Limits

This Easter I reached a whole new realization about what the holiday represents.  Christ rose to the occasion, every time.  He broke limits - even beyond death!  Death was the most unescapable thing in life, yet he did it. Whatever your beliefs, what this represents is amazing!  I love the value of this message.  It reminds me of some of my own hard earned lessons. Have Faith and Trust.  Have you figured it out yet that everything works for your greatest good? Reach for the moon!  Even if you miss, you will land amongst the stars.  (Love that saying!) Always keep one foot out of your comfort zone.   Those that accomplish great goals consistently expand their mindset.   So many of us have stern limits guarded with iron walls that trap us in a comfort zone... because we like to feel safe and comfortable.  Comfortable is boring.  Stick at least one foot out. :) Where are you stagnant?  Where do you want to be? ...

Spring Forward: The Essence of the Spring Season

Beginning. Planting Seeds. This Sunday spring officially begins!  It's my personal favorite change of the year in which the flowers bloom and the weather warms up. Spring marks the beginning of the annual cycle of life. Many ancient systems such as the astrological, Egyptian, and Persian calendars celebrate their new year on the vernal equinox⎯the first day of spring. Held in the cold Earth during winter, seeds and bulbs have undergone changes invisible to our eyes. Bulbs that contain flowers such as daffodils are now blossoming. Nature reflects what is happening within us.  As spring time blossoms, many great achievements are born from a small, dark space. All of the information that you collected during winter is now ready to be utilized and grow. As spring begins, Earth wakes up from hibernation, anew. The land covers with green vegetation and fresh life is everywhere. On the equinox, day and night are closest to being equal in length. Over the season, th...

Prime Life Project

We all have the regular areas of our self that we work on while developing, such as: Education/learning Having fun in our experience Sharing time with family and friends Etc. However, what is your Prime Life Project ? A Prime Life Project is the greatest goal of your life, your overall purpose, or the one thing you most want to accomplish and share with the world. We often come up with ideas about what we want to do with our life, get comfortable with these ideas, and become stagnant.   Take the time out to reconnect with what you want to do and see if anything new is rising within you.   Find out what it is you're doing with your life, again .  This question really can't be asked too often.  It's something we should reconnect with regularly so that we don't settle with outdated dreams.  As we grow, we have the capacity for greater visions - and we should expand them every so often. So take a day, or more, to revamp your greatest aspirations. ...

The Power of Holding a Grand Vision

“Reach for the stars.  If you fall, you’ll land on the clouds.” The laws of attraction prove that you attract whatever it is that you invest your energy into.   So basically if you think from a place of lack, you experience lack.   If you spend a lot of time worrying about things that won’t work, things won’t work.   If you instead focus your energy and attention on what you want to have – as if you already have it – you attract it to happen.   Rather than focusing on what you fear or feeling like you’re “so close” to having what you want, you have got to feel that you have it already and act as if it is true right now.   As you do this, things fall into place in miraculous ways.   We’ve all experienced glimpses of it.   Some of us experience it daily.   Honestly, w e can’t even perceive the infinite ways the universe can give us something that we want.   Why limit our avenues of reception by attempting to perceive that we kno...

Let's Do This!

This week I approach a big "battle" of life... I have a few challenges (that are bigger than I'd prefer to have) lined up.  Several key triggers are in place.  Here comes the wave!! However, with the experience and foundation I have acquired throughout my journey, I recognize that this is a grand opportunity.  A divine dance ready to play out.... With all the hard work I've got under my Wonder-Woman-style magical (and invisible) belt, I can do this!  I have the faith to own the challenge and the humbleness to get back up and dust myself off if I don't quite succeed as envisioned.  Either way I'm going for it and will do my best.  And I'll grow because of that. So here's the battle plan: 1.   Be Ready and Connect.  Each morning start with a "Me Ritual" in which I shower, put on some music, cleanse off my charges and limited thinking, connect with God and fill my cup, and be READY to rock the day.  I enter the state of being in which the ...

Just One Step at a Time

Life is challenging. At times it seems like a test - or perhaps a final exam. It can feel like a culmination of your previous lessons where everything is on the line and every move you make is extremely important. At these pivotal points - and sometimes in our regular daily active life - it can seem impossible to make it. Or perhaps not worth the trouble. But these challenges are the exact things that we need to grow. As we master our smaller lessons, they get bigger and may seem impossible at times. It's important to trust, especially when everything is on the line. Notice it always works out somehow. Check your faith and your "talk" or ideals. While you're at it, step more fully into it. "Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see". ~ Hebrews 11:1 Although you can't always see how everything can work out, you often can see the next step to take. There may be several options and it m...

A Real Treasure Map

So you thought treasure maps were things that kids make-believe.... of course. However, there is a real treasure map - for people of all ages. Yes, grown-ups too. This exercise is a lot of fun with the great benefits of exploration and clarity. It is a vision board exercise for your inner child that also plays on your highest goals. It's a vision statement in picture form. And the bonus prize is that you have a wonderful reminder of it to hang up and be refreshed by daily. Spring is the ideal time to plant the seeds of projects that you'll be working on for the year. It is a time of pregnancy and birthing. As we only have a few days left ( summer begins this weekend ), now is a perfect time to wrap up the process of getting your seeds planted. Be selective of what you invest your energy into. In summer, it will be perfect to tend and nurture these seeds you plant. So take a break from your usual busy-ness and take a healthy stretch of your imagination! Each of th...

Five Healthy Habits to Create Success

We all have goals. Great success begins with your habits. What habits do you have? Are your habits moving you towards your goals or keeping you away from them?  Being successful in your habits while aligning them with your goals, can allow achievement of what you dream of -- like never before. Habits develop by doing an action enough times that the neurons in the brain create a pathway, enabling them to move more quickly from a trigger point. Some, for example, get in the habit of eating while watching TV. Other habits develop consciously, or by choice, from something you decide to do repeatedly until these pathways are created. Ellen Langer highlights the differences between habits made out of choice versus habits people “fall into”. In her book Mindfulness , she states "a mindful approach to any activity has three characteristics: the continuous creation of new categories; openness to new information; and an implicit awareness of more than one perspective." "Min...
