Love Is

“…And the greatest of all these is love.” ~Corinthians You could explore and study love for your whole lifetime and still never fully understand it. You may only catch a glimpse of its fascinating possibilities. Love is one of those expansive eternal forces - far beyond our senses’ ordinary perception. It is something many dream of, imagine about, and wait for. Some say love is the essence of all there is and that love is the answer. Some say love hurts or it doesn’t even exist. Some prophets say that there is only love or fear at the root of everything - and that love is the only truth. We all have different versions and understandings of love - which evolve throughout our lifetime. They may range from a feeling for a soul mate to one about a favorite shirt. Love can be a sweet nickname or a feared word. Some express it with tenderness, others with strength. Some say I love you to everyone. Some reserve it only for “the one”. Others never say it at all. It can be as simple a...

Your Whole Self - Inner Child, Self, and Soul

There are all types of beliefs about the self, but this is what I believe.  I'm putting this up as a foundation for other things I want to share.  As with most things that I believe, I learned this by being open to hear others' opinions and teachings, applying them to myself and my experiences, and feeling my way through what resonates with me as feeling true and right (for me). Of course, me being me, thought of this as total BS the first time I heard of it.  But thank God, I was open enough to consider it, as I have learned over time the great value contained within this concept.  There are three key parts: The Inner Child Often seen as the part of us that is pure and innocent, the inner child is a snapshot of us when we were around six years old - before we entered kindergarten and began focusing on left brain activity (logic).  This energy remains with us forever and is the happy, playful part of ourselves.   The "dark side" of the inner ch...

Love Is Simple

Sometimes I'm simple. Sometimes I'm really not. Sometimes I say just a little. Sometimes I say a whole lot. I truthfully enjoy simple symbolism most - due to its infinite interpretation. However sometimes being showered with detailed keywords is best to trigger just the things that are needed to click. Today when I have a billion things to do, I take a long hot bath.  It's been a while.  I gotta stay motivated and have fun or else this wonder woman gets bored.  And as expected, the space for creativity proves superbly refreshing - again.  YAY!  Now I can blaze through my to do's with motivation and my treasured essence of excitement. I had previously written a loooooooong post on what Love Is .   Here is the short, sweet version.  Fresh from the heart. Love Is Fun A Refreshing Presence Romantically Thoughtful Loyal, Royal, There Growth Sparking Reaching for the Stars Together Sweet, Sizzling, Powerful, Surrender Space to Be Y...

How to Utilize Emotions for Their Divine Purpose & Follow Through with Healthy Communication for Growth & Improving Relationships

This does not qualify as my favorite thing to do… but communication is a basic skill that we all should have.  The fact is, however, that many of us are very gray and elementary in this area.  It’s not something emphasized in school and it’s not fun to deal with unhappy feelings and challenges – so we usually avoid them like the plague.  But if we open to the divine opportunities within them, we can reap great rewards and change feelings into freelings . Communication has been rising for me during the challenges of the holidays, so as I brush up on my skills and refresh what I know, I share it with you! :)  This is an expansion of what I previously wrote about in many articles including  Communication and Dealing with Conflict , but goes much farther into the earlier steps of being clear about the emotions you need to communicate. I am still very stubborn and many times I delay this process, but through my experience with it, I always come back to...
