I Can't Believe I Am 30!!! Reflections and the Future...

There’s always some sadness as I feel that time is slipping away. Never again in this lifetime will I be a young girl in my teens or twenties. Those days are behind me now - for good. It’s a reminder that this beautiful life is not forever… being with that thought both hurts and relieves me at the same time. However, it is with incredible enthusiasm that I step forward. Each day I become more me . Now I stand on a greater foundation, with outstanding vision, faith, and a solid relationship with my self. It seems every birthday brings some kind of weird mood. It's something nearly all of us go through, I think. On my 26 th birthday I decided I was no longer a helpless princess. On that day I first faced the feelings of getting older. “What more is there to look forward to?” I questioned my self. “No more exciting birthdays in the future?” At that moment, I decided to change into a Queen. It was a mindset shift into greater power within myself...

My Specialized Services from the Heart

For ten years I worked in the corporate culture and s pent most of my lunchtimes dreaming of a better way. And although I worked for outstanding companies, I sought more. I wanted to do my own thing. I dug deep and found my calling in my heart. I worked hard for over seven years at developing that passion into my own business. Under the guidance of several amazing business own ers and leaders, I learned how to manage business. Throughout my corporate life as an Accountant and Office Manager, I became an expert on time-management, accounting, organization, communicating effectively, providing high-quality service, creating useful reports, prioritizing, and maintaining high levels of information. In my own exploration as a business owner, I learned how to develop projects, build a web presence, write, and figure out how to handle all of the various other things that business owners need to. I have been very focused on nurturing my services for the past several yea...

Journal Entry: The Freedom & Beauty of Timelessness

Timelessness. What's that? How many of us truly know that feeling? Many of us are overwhelmingly busy. We've got enough projects to keep us busy through next year and beyond. I am naturally one of those who sticks to structure. When I'm organized, I can more easily trust that all is in order. When I'm on a schedule, I know that everything will be taken care of and accomplished as necessary. I feel like all is moving forward. I have a strong sense of responsibility that pulls me toward this constant checking in. I'm such a hard worker that my natural tendency is to work, work, work all week without having much rest or play time. I am learning to trust divine timing and flow as well. Although I've gotten to the realization here and there, it is not a natural awareness for me. In fact, it is probably my biggest life lesson besides learning more and more levels of love. Both of these lessons are consistent patterns in my life. I feel a strong magneti...

Having Fun with Video Chat

I have been trying out iChat with video lately and it's a blast! For some reason, I can't help but crack up when it's on. It adds a whole new element to a usual phone call and lots of opportunities for humor. It's especially fun if you have a way to make effects on your camera like this one. Yesterday Jet had one going with Westafa in Hawaii and his bandmates Amber and Finbar. Westafa played a riddim he made, Finbar played guitar, and he and Amber sang. A concert broke out in our kitchen - it was great! :) I highly recommend trying it out. It's a great way to "hang out" with those who are far away - or with anyone, without traveling! I believe PC users can try google chat or AIM... Have fun!

Embodying Spaciousness and Mac Clean Up Tips

Autumn is ideal for harvesting and creating spaciousness. I am embodying this in many ways. Spaciousness is the highest priority in my life personally right now. I went from feeling like I lived on an empty field in life (painfully empty) to now being blessed with a full harvest… however this harvest is too much! Now I realize this is much more than I want to maintain. I need time in life to simply enjoy it all more. So I’ve let go. I’ve reduced the amount of time I spend “working” on one creative project or another and am now enjoying the freedom of space. I have a basic weekly template, which provides room for everything important to me. My days are now much more open for time to just be. I feel free. I’ve reached a healthy and fulfilling balance of moving toward my goals and highest aspirations while staying on top of regular duties of life. I’m also going through a six-week O C E A N with Ejuva cleanse right now which is really bringing the process into my whole conscio...

Goals into Seeds

Friday will be summer already! It is always amazing to me how fast time can go and how much activity can happen so quickly. Use this last week to finish planting your seeds. You have until Thursday to get whatever it is you want to do, started. Even if you just have an Org Sesh (organization session you schedule with yourself), at least get started. Get your seeds in fertile soil to give them an opportunity to grow this cycle. In summer, you will nurture these seeds into flowers and fruit. NewScientist just announced that a 2,000 year old seed sprouted. It was finally just planted in the soil after it's original discovery in the 1960's. The big seasonal project of spring was to redo our goals. I just reviewed mine last week and decided to type them up to hang in my bedroom and to share with others. These are some of the key ones I came up with, which I am most happy about. Personal Goals - Spring 2008 Self Development -Daily focus of energy is creative with a cle...

Update: Goals Sesh.

As spring is the ultimate time of year for planting seeds, I have recently redone my goals. I dug up all of my old notes and made it priority to create a renewed vision of what I’m doing with my life. What a beautiful and empowering process. It felt great to make me such a priority in my life! :) Looking Back During the winter I had come to a few realizations about my self and my life. I saw how much I have developed and removed limits I previously imprisoned myself in. I had truly gone through a metamorphosis and felt empowered within like I could have never before imagined. My creation had taken on a greater level and I had become much more focused on what was most meaningful for me. It was great to reflect before moving forward to know what was most motivating for me now. Looking Forward Over time I had started collecting so many goals that they were overwhelming. I no longer felt motivated for them; they had become outdated. The best part of this goals session was envisio...
