Spring Forward: The Essence of the Spring Season

Beginning. Planting Seeds. This Sunday spring officially begins!  It's my personal favorite change of the year in which the flowers bloom and the weather warms up. Spring marks the beginning of the annual cycle of life. Many ancient systems such as the astrological, Egyptian, and Persian calendars celebrate their new year on the vernal equinox⎯the first day of spring. Held in the cold Earth during winter, seeds and bulbs have undergone changes invisible to our eyes. Bulbs that contain flowers such as daffodils are now blossoming. Nature reflects what is happening within us.  As spring time blossoms, many great achievements are born from a small, dark space. All of the information that you collected during winter is now ready to be utilized and grow. As spring begins, Earth wakes up from hibernation, anew. The land covers with green vegetation and fresh life is everywhere. On the equinox, day and night are closest to being equal in length. Over the season, th...

:: Spring Begins :: Equinox Exercises for Exploration

Welcome to spring!  It kicks off Sunday with the official equinox. And Spring arose on the garden fair,  Like the Spirit of Love felt everywhere; And each flower and herb on Earth's dark breast  rose from the dreams of its wintry rest.  ~ Percy Bysshe Shelley Right now is the best time to connect with the clarity you have learned from the dark winter while it's fresh.  The long cold season has left Earth bare and the rain has washed it clean. The changes of the seasons are reflected in ourselves as well.  By making the most of this opportune time, we gain a clearer perspective before planting, fertilizing, and nurturing our seeds for this new  yearly cycle .  Using this process consciously can make significant shifts in what you harvest in fall for this year. Exercises for Exploration and Growth Sunday : Be aware of what instincts and desires you have all day. Take note of what arises.  Just simply note feelings and as ...

My Personal Grand Vision

About two weeks ago I wrote a post on The Power of Holding a Grand Vision .   Since then, I've been opening to and refining what I see as my greatest vision.  I have made beautiful vision boards in the past, but as I look at them now, I realize they were very unspecific.  I'd have key words such as: beautiful, free, abundant, follow your heart, etc.  I didn't have any details of what those would be for me.  I really wanted to get an exact picture to hold in my mind and to walk towards in my daily life.  So here it is.  Version 1 of my refined grand vision.  I will most likely update and edit this each year around the spring time in alignment with my goals processes.  These things really help fuel me and keep me motivated through all of the hard work that I do.  Being : Enjoying each day with love (without fear), having a BLAST (lots of fun), naturally driven to grown and be in service and present with others.  Awareness of...

Love Is Simple

Sometimes I'm simple. Sometimes I'm really not. Sometimes I say just a little. Sometimes I say a whole lot. I truthfully enjoy simple symbolism most - due to its infinite interpretation. However sometimes being showered with detailed keywords is best to trigger just the things that are needed to click. Today when I have a billion things to do, I take a long hot bath.  It's been a while.  I gotta stay motivated and have fun or else this wonder woman gets bored.  And as expected, the space for creativity proves superbly refreshing - again.  YAY!  Now I can blaze through my to do's with motivation and my treasured essence of excitement. I had previously written a loooooooong post on what Love Is .   Here is the short, sweet version.  Fresh from the heart. Love Is Fun A Refreshing Presence Romantically Thoughtful Loyal, Royal, There Growth Sparking Reaching for the Stars Together Sweet, Sizzling, Powerful, Surrender Space to Be Y...

A New Year's Compass - Tool of Self Alignment for Starting Anew.

Ready for a Fresh Start for the New Year? I am! I feel very excited. It feels like the right time to let go of things that I no longer need or prefer to have in my life anymore and to stand up to new levels of growth and experience. This week, I felt tuned inward, like I've been tending to some inner work and resting, in preparation for a great start in the New Year. As it gets closer, I am more enthusiastic about it. I feel very ready for moving forward. Exercises to Renew Your Experience and Start Your Year Off Brand New Ring in the New Year by celebrating your experience, growth, and love. Top Tools for the Ideal Twitter Experience.

Twitter: The Ultimate Experience of Social Media (Updated and revised based on my experience through longer use). Haven’t tried it yet? I find Twitter is the most fun social networking tool – by far. It feels like a game in some way. It offers real time connection and current synchronization with those you don’t get to be with all the time. It shares interesting new happenings that you wouldn't have known about. Tweets are limited to 140 characters - so this requires people to keep their posts short and sweet. And, to top it off, it's low maintenance! Profiles are light and don't need much updating. The information below may be a little much if this is your first time on reading up, but check it out for a quick orientation to TwitterLand :). A seasoned twitterer? This article is designed for us. All in all, twitter is great left as simple as it is. However, a few tools can enhance the experience. After reviewing tons of available apps, these I find are most...

Check It In

Look at each day as a blank page. Before making any marks on your canvas, consciously choose what you write, draw, paint, or cut.   Keep a palette near, full of all of your favorite colors. With each stroke, have fun and enjoy the experience.  Create your ultimate design with the tools you have while riding the natural flow. At the end of the day, look back and explore the way you lived it.  Is it your best piece of art, or perhaps something you'd like to try again later?  Can you feel more  alive?  Can you give more?  Are you open to what's best for all?  Are you living your dreams? Repeat daily. Danielle Marie Crume Please   :)

Be Ready

As spring approaches next week, we transition from a period of reflection into the ideal time for planting seeds for the new yearly cycle . In this last week before the equinox, pause and look at the realizations you've had over the winter. It is ideal to be clear on the lessons you've learned before planting your new seeds in spring. It's a great time to start fertilizing your soil in preparation for the next cycle and the new seeds you want to nurture. Having a healthy structure helps your garden to flourish optimally.   Start preparing yourself for a prosperous spring. Blessings and Love! Danielle Marie Crume
