Emotions: Changing Feelings into Freelings

I have been opening to feelings on a greater level. I am learning to honor them as divine signposts rather than seeing them as problems. Why the hell would I do this, you ask? I assure you this decision was reached with reason. This isn’t something I thought might be a fun exploration.     I have realized that as I open to really feeling my feelings, I can feel much more of the beauty of life. As I pay attention to them, my life is more rich and free. I feel a surge of happiness in my daily being naturally when I am clear with what I feel. When I look at the feelings that make me feel bad, it releases those negative charges and I exude gratitude much more naturally. Living from this emanation of thankfulness and appreciation for life makes my days a whole lot more enjoyable and real. "The lightning flashes and the thunder roars and the superior man does not drop the ceremonial spoon." But there’s a reason this was hidden to me for so much of...

The Art of Being a Spiritual Warrior

I had previously judged the use of the term "warrior" with any spiritual association, but (as usual) once I opened to it, I saw the beauty and intention of the message. It draws on serious art and game play at it's best. Here are some quick notes from a book I read a while ago that hit me at the right place and time. Hope you enjoy. Definitions: Spiritual - Always holds values and strives for perfection of internal attunement to Spirit. Warrior - Mission is clear, impeccably focused, in all various types of crisis. 5 Characteristics of a Spiritual Warrior: Accepts. No judgment or resistance. Cooperates. Not in control (Spirit is). Let go. Understands. Awaken to experiences and understanding will follow. Enthusiastic. Regain awe and wonder of life as open to and receive energy of Spirit. Empathetic. We all go through the same trials. None are superior or inferior. Love, Danielle Marie Crume

Essence of the Divine Mother

Morning Star.  Traces of the universal feminine goddess ~ the Divine Mother ~ widely known as Amma, Tara, and Mary, are found the world over. She is known universally for her remarkable compassion, deep inner wisdom, and exuberant love.  Many women today have realized their inner connection to the Divine Mother. These enlightened women reflect her in that they have fantastic spiritual powers, possess incredible strength, and are very aware of their selves and their emotions. A woman who has developed this connection knows very well how to take care of her self. She cannot be manipulated, defined, or ever entirely known. Her wisdom shines as a playful mysteriousness. She has a vigilence that reaches everywhere that her heart desires. She is a passionate queen healer who is full of vitality and outgoing with a graceful spirit. She balances a tender expression with untouchable strength. Her innate awareness of Truth allows a wise perspective of the universal laws and bl...

Journal Entry: The Freedom & Beauty of Timelessness

Timelessness. What's that? How many of us truly know that feeling? Many of us are overwhelmingly busy. We've got enough projects to keep us busy through next year and beyond. I am naturally one of those who sticks to structure. When I'm organized, I can more easily trust that all is in order. When I'm on a schedule, I know that everything will be taken care of and accomplished as necessary. I feel like all is moving forward. I have a strong sense of responsibility that pulls me toward this constant checking in. I'm such a hard worker that my natural tendency is to work, work, work all week without having much rest or play time. I am learning to trust divine timing and flow as well. Although I've gotten to the realization here and there, it is not a natural awareness for me. In fact, it is probably my biggest life lesson besides learning more and more levels of love. Both of these lessons are consistent patterns in my life. I feel a strong magneti...

Recipe for a Nourishing Bath

For the times when it seems the world has gone astray, or just after a tough day, a bath is a wonderful nourishing space to retreat. When my shower head broke this winter, I was forced to take baths daily for a bit. This "problem" ended up being a wonderful blessing in disguise. Taking a bath in the morning, even if 10 minutes long, feels great! When we pause and submerge in water, it a provides a feel-great and clear space to connect all around. The best thing is that most of us already have one in our homes. Here are some tips for creating a bath retreat that relaxes and renews: Add a box of baking soda. The minerals in it condition the water to make it softer and naturally more cleansing. Play with temperature. Sometimes a hot bath feels like it hits the spot, sometimes a cool one does. Add some flower petals to dress up the bath while making it feel rich and sensual. You can grab some from outside and rinse them off. Add a few drops of essential oils ...

It's All Love

A quick expression of feeling through reflections of love. Love. Are you feeling it? Are you being it? Is it around you? If not, look inside you. See where you can become it. More. It's never been about the score. It's the presence. The compassion. The care. Inside of yourself and outside of yourself is where. Give it to you. Grow. More and more you'll know. How to share it "out there". Got enough to spare? Love! Danielle Marie Crume
