Be My Valentine

A silly day, some will say, I'd love to celebrate anyway. Perhaps we can share extra love And thank the heavens up above For the blessing of each other. It's you I want, above any other. So won't you please, be mine... Today, be my sweet Valentine? Let's be silly and enjoy That I'm your girl and you're my boy. Too often we are so busy, Perhaps just today we can be free To focus on each other... And be extra thankful for our lover. So what do you say, love of mine? Will you be my valentine? =) <3 I Love You! by Danielle Crume © 2011

A Poem: The Law

This is a beautiful poem that I found in a book a while back.  I'm in the process of moving and letting go of things, but want share it here: The sun may be clouded, yet ever the sun Will sweep on its course till the cycle is run. And when into chaos the systems are hurled, Again shall the Builder reshape the new world. Your path may be clouded, uncertain your goal; Move on, for the orbit is fixed for your soul. And though it may lead into darkness of night,  The torch of the Builder shall give it new light. You were, and you will be; know this while you are: Your spirit has traveled both long and afar. It came from the Source, to the Source it returns;  The spark that was lighted eternally burns. From body to body your spirit speeds on; It seeks a new form, when the old one is gone; And the form that it finds, is the fabric we wrought On the loom of the mind, with the fibre of thought. From cycle to cycle, through time and through space,  Your lives with your...

Time and Life Passes

A few endings have come to pass, bringing up the feelings of grief and sorrow.  I express and release them in a quick poem... capturing the beauty of powerful emotions of change. When I look to the past, I can cry tears of great pain, Longing for the times that will NEVER be again. Simple times that were sooooo beautiful. It's quite amazing how quickly we grow. Such beauty there has been in my days. As I recall it, at so many times, I am amazed. If I hadn't accepted change as part of life, Each day would be filled with great strife. For times that will never be again. Never ever ever be again. However when I turn this grief to gratitude, It uplifts my entire attitude. So thankful am I these times have been, Sooo eternally grateful I am. My heart fills with joy and love, The kind I'm certain is from above. And as times continue to change even more, The greater I adore. For I only get better - And will always Re-Member. Maybe not details, but ALL in my ...

I AM

Breathe in and out.  Let go of your busy mind for just a moment.  Step into the sanctuary of your heart for a quick replenishing and refreshment. I AM Peace Centered and still inside regardless of the hustle and bustle outside. Love I emanate joy through the jealousy and hopelessness I encounter in my day. Strength I rise consistently through my adversities, applying the wisdom they bring. Abundance All I ever need, IS. Once again, I remind myself: All I ever need, IS. From here, I enter the game again... connected =) by Danielle Crume © 2010

Tuesday Morning

September morning, all on their way. A weekday journey through downtown. Pretty close, not so far away. Another world it seems, with many different things. Oh, what a reflection it brings. A window shows the sorrow many know. Learning the hard way, feeling alone. Not knowing where to turn. Rising again dawn after dawn. They keep on. And on. I see things that some never see. And some never see beyond. Rather than weep, I give thanks for all I got. And walk toward helping another. Loving all I can as my own brother. Beautiful people trying their best. Sometimes forgotten with little rest. The more I look, I see – How much everyone is just like me. You, I, he, she, they, us. All reflections of Thee. So thankful today...I love we! Be Thankful!

Inspired by the heights of my jaw pain after my wisdom teeth extraction, reflections of gratitude for the things we often take for granted. Yes, its repetitive, but slow down and open up to the purpose of each word! :) Every time that you feel no pain in your body, give thanks. Every time that you wake up in a cozy place, give thanks. Every time that you have food to nourish you, give thanks. Every time that you come home to a nurturing space, give thanks. Every time that you get to enjoy a friends smile, give thanks. Every time that you have some love in your heart, give thanks. Every time that you are there for yourself, give thanks. Every time that you make it through a tough part, give thanks. Every time that you get a hug from the youth, give thanks. Every time that the sun brings a new day, give thanks. Every time that you can give to your elders, give thanks. Every time things do go your way, give thanks!!! In Gratitude of All of Life’...

To Sum It Up

Not one experience I regret. Not one moment I'd trade. Not one vision I'd let go of forever. For all of this is how I was made. THANKS!!! Danielle Marie Crume

Stop and Smell the Flowers!

A poem by my dear great grandpa. He was a writer too... mostly lyrics for songs. Love it! There are many things in our life we hurry to pass by. We run too fast to enjoy them and then we wonder why. Take it a little easy, that's all you have to do. Some little stops along life's road will sure be good for you. Instead of rushing along your way; stop and smell the flowers. Enjoy the little things every day; stop and smell the flowers. Just do these things and you will see; life's as sweet as it can be. Stop and smell the flowers! Stop and smell the flowers! Watch a honey bee in a rose; a corn field as it grows. You'll feel better heaven knows: make a snow man when it snows. Just the laughter of a child; pause and listen for a while. Even though it's not your style, stop to see a baby smile. You may gain great riches, but it won't mean so much to you If you miss these precious things that can make you feel like new. Sing the songs you've left unsung; w...

Journey

A poem I just dug up from last summer. This journey has changed so many, many times. What was seemingly certain, is long gone. What seemed impossible has been greatly surpassed. It's been the greatest, both joys and pains. It's hard to really let go and flow with life. Can't hang on at all, just gotta let go. And Trust. How blessed you are if you really feel faith and love in your heart. And finally, I am. Emanating from within. Yet I still treasure those simple old times. The comforts found in my ignorance. In the impossible promises. The warmth of love from those who no longer share it. But regardless of those wonderous times. I would never trade my being, my life, right now. The love within, the faith, and connection. The Truth. Is Luminous. Still. I Rise. Love, Danielle Marie Crume
